BAKA Liftec (India) Pvt. Ltd. is a joint venture with our German parent company, bringing over eight decades of global expertise in Material Handling Equipment to the Indian market. Established in Bangalore more than 25 years ago, we manufacture and supply a wide range of solutions, including pallet trucks, stackers, lift tables, dock levelers, and customized equipment for industrial and commercial applications.

Mr. Subrata Haldar
Founder and Chairman of BAKA Liftec (India) Pvt. Ltd
Mr. Subrata Haldar, an Alumini of Indian Railways Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering had a stint with Railways and proceeded to Germany on study leave to do Industrial Engineering thereafter he was working with M/s. Ford Motor Company as an Industrial Engineer in Germany and thereafter joined M/s. Robert Bosch in Stuttgart as Planning Engineer. After a quite longstay in Germany he was deputed to M/s. Mico – Bosch, India in 1968, worked in different positions and rose upto the rank of Divisional Manager – Planning [Arbeitsvorbereitung]. Based on his background in 1982 the then Managing Director of M/s. Bosch, India Dr. Ing. Helmut Kubeth and the Commercial Director Mr. Vikram Bhat gave him the responsibility to start the project to supply Fuel Injection equipments like Calibration Test Benches / Nozzle Tester / Spark Plug Testers besides Diesel Filter Inserts to M/s. Bosch and thereby the unit in the name and style M/s. Beaver Automotive Pvt Ltd was launched. Further the unit M/s. Kraft Hydrotec Pvt Ltd in collaboration with M/s. Hydrokraft, Germany was set-up to produce the indigenized hydraulic variable drive which is the heart of fuel injection equipments. He is having 56 years long relationship with M/s. Bosch and a Chairman of M/s. Beaver Group of Companies.
In the year 1996 a unit M/s. Baka Liftec India Pvt Ltd was founded in collaboration with M/s. D. Bader Sohne GmbH & Co. K.G., Germany to manufacture various material handling equipments specialized in custom-built products. Executives were trained in Germany for manufacturing as well as servicing all our equipments. Baka Liftec also represents M/s. Stoecklin, Switzerland specialized in manufacturing explosion proof material handling equipments and also have Stoecklin trained personnel for servicing their equipments in India.
